IMATS LA - What an experience!

THE TITANIC FX TEAM HEADED TO LOS ANGELES RECENTLY FOR THE ANNUAL IMATS (International Makeup Artist Trade Show)

The pressure was on... We were heading across the water to launch our brand new Pro FX range in the USA! We prepped and packed ourselves silly to travel some distance over to Los Angeles for IMATS, but we must admit we had a blast and it has totally been worth it! The weather held up for us and we found time to squeeze in a little sight seeing, well, how could we not?
We launched our Pro FX Brush Range and Accessories to the UK back in November 2016, which was a massive success, so this time around it was time to take over USA. These brushes are specifically designed for use in SFX/Prosthetics. They are vegan friendly, synthetic and ethically sourced and tick all the boxes for every professional make-up artist kit.

IMATS LA was just incredible! We have luckily been invited to participate for a few years now, we are thrilled to be part of it. The venue itself is simply stunning. There was a huge crowd of passionate prosthetic enthusiasts, makeup lovers and body painting artists continually flowing around the venue, a new face every second! There was a magnificent buzz from the customers and our fellow booth holders. The new range of brushes and products went down in LA better than expected! We even sold out of a few product ranges. Our booth was so well positioned we were even able to watch some on-stage demos and talks, thanks for that!
Joining us in booth #2014 was the absolute dream team... The talented Stuart Bray (Credits Include: HBO’s Game of Thrones, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Prometheus and Shaun of the Dead) Stuart did a live demo using Titanic FX gelatin and painted with a European Body Art palette. Gore-tastic!

And the unbelievable Danny Marie Elias (Credits include: The X Factor, Doctor Who and many fashion publications) doing a live demo which was spectacular to watch... Applying her own penciled, stencil tattoos and then adding appliances to give depth. The result is gorgeous.

A big well done to all involved, a huge team I'm sure, for holding another spectacular event, we can't wait until next year already but we have lots planned in between, you'll just have to keep your eyes peeled.
Time to recover and prep for the next one... We hope you can join us!

I have attended IMATS LA for the past few years and I really love watching your demos. I am a devoted gelatin prosthetics maker and the Titanic line of gelatin is just perfect.
If you need an artist to do any demos in your booth for the 2019 show, please keep me in mind, I’d love to make something for you!

Happy Holidays!
